KAI KAI at Crooked Can is looking for a skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team in Minneola, FL!

We're searching for someone who understands heat, timing, and consistency and knows how to execute quality dishes even when the tickets are flying.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and cook proteins and other menu items using commercial grilling equipment.

  • Ensure proper cooking temperatures, doneness, and presentation.

  • Execute orders accurately and efficiently during high-volume service.

  • Follow established recipes, seasoning, and preparation standards.

  • Maintain proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

  • Set up, stock, clean, and organize the grill station.

  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order execution.

  • Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous grill cook experience in a professional kitchen required.

  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.

  • Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, temperatures, and protein preparation.

  • Asian cuisine experience is a plus.

  • Ability to multitask and maintain quality under pressure.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
