System and Network Engineer

The System & Network Engineer's role and responsibilities will primarily revolve around the network infrastructure, server management (including VMWare hosts and clients), Microsoft Office 365 Environment and supporting desktops, laptops, and printers.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Support and maintain critical systems, assets, and information.

Support and maintain Firewall, VPN, Switches, Network, and Internet.

Understand needs, plan, and build solutions.

Understand and follow best practices for IT Security such as Physical, Virtual, HIPA, etc.

Implement new software and hardware needs.

Create and Document processes and procedures.

Availability to travel to remote locations as necessary.

Requirements:

Must be able to speak and write English proficiently.

Education/Experience

BS/BA College degree preferred.

An ITIL qualification is preferable but not essential.

MCP, CCNA, and/or MCSE certification is desirable but not essential.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Excellent communication skills and telephone manners.

Two years previous IT Service Desk and/or Call Center experience preferred.

Incident Management experience - Managing incidents including business expectations and communication.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 required.

Knowledge of Veeam backup software required.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 11 and up.

This is a hybrid position, but candidates must be capable of being onsite within an hour or less.

Rate of Pay: 80k - 100k per year.
