Job Description
6 Degrees Group is searching for a Staff Accountant for a client in the Cobb County area.
Title: Staff Accountant
Key Points:
- Responsible for daily cash reconciliation, financial reporting, and ensuring internal controls.
- Support month-end close including reconciliations, journal entries, and property tax filings.
- Assist with compliance efforts related to business and contractor licenses, payroll tax filings, and state/local regulations.
- Maintain fixed asset records and capital lease schedules while supporting AR/AP functions.
- Collaborate with branch locations on financial inquiries and reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements using dashboards and PowerBI.
- Utilize accounting software and emerging technologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Requires high integrity, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
