Med One Group, a leader in the medical equipment finance industry for over 30 years, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant with 3-5 years of accounting experience to join our team. This individual will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting functions with a strong emphasis on accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions. The ideal candidate is someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and contribute to the overall accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Essential Functions & Skills

  • Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments..
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collections.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate coding and processing of invoices and payments.
  • Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of evolving leasing and financial services regulations, ensuring organizational compliance at all times.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience including AP/AR knowledge
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
