Senior Tax Accountant

Exceptional opportunity for a Senior Tax Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in business tax and individual tax matters. In this role, prior experience with mid-regional firms specializing in small business tax and business development is essential. Effective communication with clients is a significant aspect of this position, as you will be actively involved in managing clients' financials and tax responsibilities. Furthermore, a strong grasp of current tax law is a prerequisite. While we value team collaboration and local interactions, we also offer the flexibility of a work-from-home policy. Additionally, outside of the busy season, a four-day workweek is in place.

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 5 years of recent work experience with a public accounting firm
• High level knowledge of tax accounting and tax law is expected
• Ability to adapt to different software tools for project management and workflow
• Solid organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a paperless office with advanced skills in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work overtime as required throughout the year
• Ability to actively maintain client relationships and provide timely service
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Dedication to teamwork and leadership
• Auditing experience or desire to handle audit engagements is a plus
