Position Title: Senior Recruiter
Location: Austin, TX • Dallas, TX • Birmingham, AL
Travel: Up to 15%
Summary
The Senior Recruiter will play a strategic and hands-on role in driving talent acquisition efforts across HPM. This individual will support both full-time and campus recruiting initiatives, partnering closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to identify, attract, and hire top talent across multiple markets. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, recruiting experience across all levels, and a passion for delivering an excellent candidate experience while promoting the culture and values.
Key Responsibilities-
Professional Recruiting:
- Own full cycle recruiting for assigned positions: intake calls, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, assessments, and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and advise on compensation, job descriptions, and hiring timelines
- Proactively source and build pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM campaigns, and networking
- Maintain accurate candidate records and dispositions in the ATS
- Lead bi-weekly recruiting calls with hiring teams and attend manpower meetings
Campus & Early Talent:
- Manage co-op/intern recruiting: job postings, offers, orientation, evaluations, end-of-semester presentations, etc.
- Maintain campus recruiting calendar and facilitate communication with divisional champions
- Support and build university relationships and on-campus presence through events and presentations
- Host campus recruiting touchpoints and champion intern experience initiatives
Recruiting Operations & Strategy:
- Ensure compliance and consistency across all recruiting workflows
- Support diverse recruitment efforts and ensure sourcing channels reflect these values
- Assist with the creation of job descriptions and compensation benchmarking
- Provide retention touchpoints post-hire and identify strategic referral opportunities
- Track and report recruiting metrics, analyzing results and identifying areas for improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field
- 6-10 years of full cycle recruiting experience; construction industry experience preferred
- Experience managing both professional and campus hiring initiatives
- Proficiency in ATS (Jobvite preferred), LinkedIn Recruiter, and CRM tools
- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion
