*Company Overview*

This is theater-level work that matters. As a Senior Joint Logistics Planner – Munitions, you will own the munitions posture for deployed and deploying forces across the Indo-Pacific, directly advising senior leaders on supply-chain risks, explosive safety, and operational readiness. You will sit at the intersection of joint planning, logistics execution, and strategic decision-making — where your expertise shapes real outcomes. If you have deep munitions experience and want to operate at the highest levels of joint logistics, this is your role.

*THE MISSION*

K2 is supporting a critical theater-level logistics mission at Camp Smith, Honolulu, HI. The Senior Joint Logistics Planner – Munitions provides expert ammunition planning, accountability, and sustainment support across competition, crisis, contingency, and operational planning activities. You will give senior leaders the visibility they need to make high-stakes decisions — and you will be the expert voice in the room when it comes to munitions posture, explosive safety, and supply-chain risk. This role demands seasoned judgment, strong coordination skills, and a commitment to getting it right.

*WHAT YOU'LL DO*

* Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of ammunition support for deploying and deployed forces
* Maintain munitions accountability processes, reporting mechanisms, and data-system integration to support senior-level decision-making
* Maintain inter-service visibility and accountability of munitions supporting theater requirements
* Track munitions movements throughout the theater to identify, mitigate, and prevent shortages before they occur
* Monitor munitions supply-chain status, trends, component availability, and subordinate-command sustainability
* Advise leadership on explosive safety risks, compliance requirements, and mitigation strategies
* Develop, update, and maintain applicable theater explosive safety policies and procedures
* Provide senior-level munitions expertise to competition, crisis, contingency, theater, and operational planning efforts
* Support joint component Class V posture initiatives through consolidation, interpretation, coordination, and dissemination of posture information
* Conduct or support inter-theater surveys and assessments to validate munitions posture, capacity, and sustainability
* Coordinate with joint munitions working groups and governance bodies to deconflict activities and track and report logistics risks
* Serve as a senior representative coordinating with operations, logistics, plans, and future-operations stakeholders to maintain an accurate theater posture plan and associated TTPs
* Provide oversight, guidance, and quality assurance for munitions personnel and supporting quality assurance staff
* Prepare senior-level briefings, decision-support products, status reports, risk assessments, and logistics recommendations
* Identify emerging munitions risks, develop mitigation options, and communicate impacts to appropriate stakeholders
* Mentor junior planners and contribute to continuous improvement of munitions planning, accountability, and reporting processes

*WHAT YOU BRING*

* Active TS/SCI security clearance
* Extensive experience in joint logistics planning, munitions management, ammunition support, or a closely related discipline
* Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, or overseeing ammunition support for deploying or deployed forces
* Experience with munitions accountability, supply-chain visibility, movement tracking, and sustainment planning
* Working knowledge of explosive safety requirements, risk management, and compliance processes
* Experience supporting theater, contingency, crisis, competition, or operational planning activities
* Ability to analyze complex logistics data and translate findings into clear recommendations for senior leaders
* Experience coordinating across joint, inter-service, component, and subordinate-command organizations
* Strong written and verbal communication skills

*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

* Experience supporting a geographic combatant command, joint headquarters, or comparable defense organization
* Experience with joint munitions working groups, boards, or governance processes
* Experience coordinating with operations, logistics, plans, future-operations, and future-plans staff elements
* Experience developing or implementing theater-level explosive safety policy
* Experience conducting inter-theater surveys or munitions posture assessments
* Experience with Class V posture planning, munitions sustainability, and force-deployment readiness
* Experience integrating multiple munitions data systems or logistics information systems
* Military experience in joint logistics, ammunition operations, munitions management, or explosive safety
* Experience overseeing subject matter personnel, quality assurance staff, or distributed logistics teams
* Familiarity with theater posture plans, TTP development, operational plans, contingency plans, and senior-leader decision support
* Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, military studies, operations research, or a related field
