Overview
The Senior Human Resources Partner fosters and aligns business objectives with management and employees. Serves as a consultant to management on HR issues and an advocate for employees.
Essential Functions
Works closely with management and employees to develop, implement, evaluate, improve work relationships, build moral, and increase productivity and retention; resolves complex employee relations issues and addresses grievances
2 Provides day-to-day coaching to leadership on employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application, talent management and development, and organizational design consultation; reinforces the organization’s core values and behavioral expectations through modeling, communication, and coaching.
3 Analyzes trends and metrics with the HR department; supports performance management, merit and benefits enrollment, and other activities.
4 Independently provides full service human resources support for assigned groups; establishes relationships with key leaders and learns key organizational and operational issues of assigned groups; provides proactive input to leaders regarding employee relations, organization design, leadership development, compensation, and other HR issues.
5 Conducts, supports, and participates in investigations regarding employee concerns, ensuring CoEs process is followed; recommends course of action consistent with best practices, addressing root causes of issues; ensures any ethics concerns are immediately reported and investigated and that appropriate action is taken.
6 Facilitates organizational transitions for employees at assigned groups; fosters methods of communication and empowerment through responsibility to build manager and employee
ownership of the organization and a positive work environment
7 Manages, supports, and monitors recruitment process for open positions; recommends and implements strategies to attract qualified applicants; monitors and reports recruitment metrics.
8 Performs any and all other work as needed or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources, Business/Public Administration, or Social Science field.
EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years of professional level human resources experience in three (3) or more of the following areas:
Change management
Employee relations
Performance management
Employee engagement
AND
One (1) year of supervisory/lead work responsibilities.
EQUIVALENCIES:
High school diploma or GED plus seven (7) years of the required experience including one (1) year of supervisory/lead work responsibilities will meet the education and experience requirements.
Associate degree in any field plus five (5) years of the required experience including one (1) year of supervisory/lead work responsibilities will meet the education and experience requirements.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a non-specified field plus five (5) years of the required experience including one (1) year of supervisory/lead work responsibilities will meet the education and experience requirements.
Master’s degree or higher in a specified field plus one (1) year of the required experience including one (1) year of supervisory/lead work responsibilities will meet the education and experience requirements.
A Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification OR Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) will substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
LICENSE:
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
