The Recruiter at BHC is responsible for leading the full-cycle recruitment process across the company’s luxury hospitality portfolio. This role focuses on identifying top-tier talent, building strong candidate pipelines, and creating a best-in-class hiring experience that reflects BHC’s commitment to excellence, service, and culture. The Recruiter will work closely with department leaders and the People and Culture teams to understand staffing needs and develop sourcing strategies that support growth, retention, and the overall success of each property and department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage full-cycle recruitment across all departments, from sourcing and interviewing to offer management and onboarding coordination.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop clear, compelling job descriptions and candidate profiles.
Source qualified candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, direct outreach, employee referrals, and industry events.
Build and maintain strong pipelines for key roles, focusing on proactive recruitment for high-volume and leadership positions.
Screen and interview candidates, assessing both technical skills and cultural fit.
Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the interview and hiring process.
Maintain recruitment data and reporting metrics through applicant tracking systems.
Partner with the People and Culture department and hiring leaders to ensure talent acquisition strategy is in alignment with BHC's values, diversity initiatives, and workforce goals.
Coordinate and support hiring events, career fairs, and campus recruitment initiatives.
Stay current on industry trends, wage benchmarks, and competitor hiring strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Support onboarding efforts and help facilitate the transition from candidate to colleague.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years of recruitment and/or human resources experience, preferably in luxury hospitality or in the high-touch service industry.
Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment and sourcing strategies.
Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools, Workday knowledge a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to build rapport and relationships with internal stakeholders and external candidates alike.
Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented with strong attention to detail.
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence.
Understanding of luxury service culture and the importance of team alignment in guest experience delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred; or equivalent relevant work experience.
