As our HR Manager, you will take ownership of all core HR functions, providing both strategic direction and hands-on support across the business. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and team managers to drive employee engagement, compliance, and a strong company culture.
- Part-Time position (9am-2:30pm Monday-Friday)
- Salary range between $50 000-$60 000 based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Provide expert guidance on New Zealand employment law and best practice
- Maintain and update HR policies, employment agreements, and compliance procedures
- Support managers with performance reviews, KPIs, and employee development
- Handle employment relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
- Oversee training and development planning
- Coordinate payroll input and support remuneration reviews
- Champion health, safety, and employee wellbeing initiatives
- Lead culture and engagement activities across the business
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of generalist HR experience, ideally in construction, development, or similar industries
- In-depth knowledge of New Zealand employment law and HR practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working independently
- Experience with HRIS systems and modern HR tools
- Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or a related field
