Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Perform daily operation of Front Office and complete daily closing of Resort. Perform Front Desk Operations. Provide Front Desk service to all guest requiring information, registration, and check out. Insure response to guests needs are timely and accurate in meeting request and demands where and when appropriate. Provide a positive and memorable hotel experience for each and every visitor to Quinault Beach Resort & Casino. Make hotel event reservations in a timely and courteous manner. In addition, the GSR works to establish rapport with routine VIPs and callers to Quinault Beach Resort and Casino. The GSR is also a property information specialists and direct guests and or vendors to appropriate departments, rooms, or individuals for request and follow up.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Casino operations at all times and in all activities. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers of the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino operations. Develop solutions for customer concerns and continual focus on customer service as our top priority.Complete daily postings and balance daily accounts.
  • Must be able to check guest in and out accurately.
  • Always act professionally and courteously to guest and employees.
  • Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operations.
  • Effectively manage time.
  • Meets or exceeds productivity standards.
  • Balance all daily revenues and receipts as posted at Front Desk.
  • Maintain cash bank and balance it at end of shift.
  • Record cash drops as they occur.
  • Follow job description of Front Desk Agent.
  • Assume night desk clerk duties and assist guests as needed.
  • Completes reports and paperwork.
  • Assures property operation meets internal audit standards.
  • May fill in as Valet Attendant as needed.
  • Comply at all times with QBR standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient resort operations.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area.
  • Report to work well groomed, on time and in department issued uniform.
  • Adhere to all QBRC Personnel Policies and Procedures, Title 97 Policy, and HR Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled in GED classes.
  • Read, write and speak English fluently.
  • 6 months customer service required.
  • 6 months previous front desk.
  • Must have basic MS Word and Excel experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Professionally deal with difficult situations and people.
  • Meet deadlines as required.
  • Meet multiple priorities of business demands.
  • Adjust to schedule changes and cover shifts on short notice.
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles as required.
  • Valid Washington state drivers license.
  • Less than three moving violations in the three previous years.

Preferred:

  • Accounting background.
  • CPR Certification.

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Washington State Drivers License.
  • Must be insurable through our company.
