Our Lighting Field Auditor role will allow you to exercise your affinity for organization, structure, and follow-through. Conducting field surveys and audits of customer sites. The role regularly travels throughout the US, approximately 90%-100% of the time, to customers’ site locations to provide accurate, detailed surveys and audits. This role’s responsibilities are essential to executing installations and customer satisfaction.

Job Highlights:
- Perform accurate and detailed lighting assessment surveys and audits of customers’ facilities in compliance with the project scope.
- Develop detailed and accurate field notes, survey, and audit data with energy-saving calculations; provide regular updates to the Construction Services team.
- Review lighting specifications and determine if they are practical and consistent with the layout and application of the facility
- Identify discrepancies and communicate with Engineering and Construction Services teams when specifications are inconsistent with application and/or building layout.
- Be cognitive of safety and working conditions; follow all safety policies, regulations, and protocols of Orion and the facility; notify the Customer and the Construction Services Team of unsafe working conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned per department needs and requirements.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Associate degree in electrical, construction, or related field or equivalent years of education and/or experience
- Prefer two (2) to five (5) years of field experience in Lighting, Electrical, Auditing, or a similar role
- Must be able to understand lighting schematics and facility drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot discrepancies, generate ideas, and solutions quickly
- Must possess the ability to climb ladders safely; follow safety protocols
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to travel up to 90% of the time, throughout the U.S.
- A valid driver's license with acceptable driving records is required
