Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide first-line support for hardware and software issues across our organization, both on-site and remotely.

 

This role includes troubleshooting network connectivity, maintaining and upgrading workstations, and supporting various devices such as warehouse barcoding systems, label printers, RF guns, store POS systems, and access control systems. The specialist will also oversee hardware inventory, ensure software compliance, and assist remote employees using desktop tools. Escalation of unresolved technical issues to the IT Administrator will be required as needed.

 

*This position is open to local candidates only. Applicants must be within a commutable distance of 90 Mort Drive, Easton, PA 18040. Relocation assistance is not provided*

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Provide first-line hardware and software support, on-site and remotely.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic network and Wi-Fi issues.

  • Maintain and repair printers and other networked devices.

  • Perform workstation maintenance and upgrades.

  • Support warehouse barcoding equipment, including label printers and RF guns.

  • Maintain store POS systems and related hardware.

  • Manage access control systems and security fobs.

  • Oversee hardware inventory and software compliance.

  • Provide remote assistance to home-based employees.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to the IT Administrator as needed.

 

Education and Experience



  • High school diploma or GED (required).

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).

  • Relevant certifications may substitute for a degree.

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (preferred).

  • Specialized certifications in VMware, MacOS, Netsuite ERP, or Verkada cameras are advantageous.

  • 1-3 years of IT support experience or equivalent internship/training.

  • Familiarity with systems such as Netsuite ERP, Verkada Cameras, Extreme Networking, VMware vSphere, and MacOS is highly desirable.

 

Skills and Qualifications



  • Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and networking.

  • Experience with Wi-Fi networks, printers, barcoding equipment, and POS systems.

  • Proficiency in workstation maintenance and remote support.

  • Familiarity with access control systems.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

 

Physical Requirements

 


  • Ability to work across office spaces, warehouses, and retail environments.

  • Capable of lifting and carrying IT equipment up to 50 lbs.

  • Comfortable with tasks requiring crawling under desks or climbing ladders.

  • Strong manual dexterity for assembling, repairing, and connecting small hardware components.

  • Good vision for inspecting hardware and reading technical documentation.

  • Flexibility to travel to multiple locations for on-site support.

  • Availability to respond to off-hours support calls or emergencies.
