Job Title: Information Technology Support Specialist 

Location: Ladson, SC


Position Summary:


The IT Support Specialist ensures the availability, functionality, and security of Schnellecke Logistics IT systems and resources in compliance with corporate IT guidelines. This position supports daily operations within the customer IT environment by managing help desk activities, maintaining infrastructure, coordinating incident resolution, and ensuring proper system administration.


The IT Support Specialist serves as the primary on-site IT support resource while collaborating with corporate IT teams and third-party providers to maintain operational continuity and data security. 


Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure availability and functionality of Schnellecke IT systems in compliance with corporate IT standards

• Provide general user help desk support for clients and endpoint hardware, including computers, printers, tablets, and mobile devices

• Manage applications operated by Schnellecke including user support, incident resolution, and system customization

• Maintain IT infrastructure, including domain administration, network support, file server management, and enforcement of IT security standards

• Administer customer-related IT systems,s including access management and coordination of IT-related requests or incidents

• Coordinate IT tickets within the Schnellecke IT Ticket System and collaborate with 2nd Level Corporate IT support teams in Germany or Mexico

• Maintain inventory control of Schnellecke and customer-owned IT assets, including computers, tablets, and cell phones

• Support operational IT needs within both warehouse and office environments

• Always follow and ensure adherence to Schnellecke Safety Principles

• Perform additional IT-related duties as assigned by the Manager,r IT Region USA

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• Technical degree or formal studies in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred

• Minimum 2 years of professional IT experience

• Strong knowledge of computer and network hardware

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and iOS operating systems

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Visual Basic, preferred

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment

• Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

• Candidates must be able to legally work for any employer in the United States

• Complete a Background check and drug screening

Work Environment:

• Must be able to work in both logistics shop floor and office environments

• Regular exposure to warehouse conditions, including noise and moving equipment

• Weekends may be mandatory working days

• Must be able to lift and move IT equipment as needed
