Administer various human resources plans and procedures for over 500 employees (unionized workforce).
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Participate in recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
Support benefits administration, employee performance evaluations, and employee recognition programs.
Conduct new hire orientation and provide ongoing employee support.
Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
Conduct confidential investigations into complaints related to harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, misconduct, and policy violations.
Collaborate with HR leadership, legal counsel, and department heads on complex investigations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies throughout the investigation process.
Bachelorโs degree in HR, organizational development, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
2โ3 years of relevant business experience, ideally as an HR Generalist Investig.
Experience working with a Union (preferred).
Ability to travel between agency sites as needed (reliable transportation required).
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.

Qualifications & Minimum Requirements: ย
โขย ย ย Bachelorโs degree in HR, organization development, business administration, or related field preferred.ยโขย ย ย A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant business experience required, preferably working as a HR Generalist or Internal Investigator.
โขย ย ย Experience working with a Union preferred.
โขย ย ย Reliable transportation to travel between Agency sites required.
