Job Description:

Serves as the primary technical point of contact for Yardi financial software across the company. Provide troubleshooting, support, training and recommendations related to Yardi financial modules.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business users to identify, understand, and solve challenges related to the Yardi financial system
  • Ensure software usage and business process efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization
  • Participate in the testing and implementation of periodic system upgrades for new plug-ins, hot-fixes and Voyager releases along with the Business Systems Team
  • Support the successful onboarding and offboarding of Communities for the company’s Yardi platform
  • Solve helpdesk inquiries related to Yardi module errors or general Yardi questions/issues. Provide outstanding customer service. Alert management of any irregularities or issues including timely integrations 

Education and Experience:

  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, Finance or related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience with technical troubleshooting and user support. 
  • Strong knowledge of Yardi Voyager 7S required 
  • General Accounting knowledge required, strength in General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Reconciliation 
  • Multi-family real estate experience preferred 
  • Experience in a publicly traded company preferred 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail 
  • High level of interpersonal and written communication skills 
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems
