SUMMARY
A qualified paralegal (level II) working at the USAO in direct support of one or more Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) providing a variety of technical paralegal services specific to Qui Tam and Civil Corporate Fraud litigation. The work requires wide-ranging and thorough knowledge of the legal system, civil litigation, and civil discovery. Experience with legal research concepts and methods, available research tools and legal reference materials is expected. The daily work will also require consistently high levels of organization and management of substantial quantities of documents, records, data, and various forms of discovery. The work may require financial and legal decision analysis including analysis of documents and information for legal relevance, data summary, conclusions, and recommendations of appropriate action. Assignments will vary based on circumstances of the case and will include primarily sedentary office work including prolonged sitting, walking, standing, bending and carrying of office items, discovery, and case files.
