This position provides quality customer service to current and new customer base. Handles day to day office functions such as performing various bookkeeping services for businesses, handling the administration for a public utility and oil and gas processing.
Responsible for the following administrative duties for assigned clients of Hays & Co.:
- Communication with client to assist with business needs
- Generate monthly bills and other administrative duties
- Bank Reconciliations
- Accounts Payable
- Payroll
- Payroll Reporting
- Billing
- Performing royalty distributions
- Income tax preparation
Position Requirements
- High School diploma
- Two to three years experience in Customer Service
- Expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
- General bookkeeping and accounting knowledge
- Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
- Typically, the employee may sit to perform the work. However, there may be some standing, walking, bending and carrying of light items in the course of the work
- Income tax preparation
