As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving transformative changes across Finance, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, and Audit. You will work at the intersection of business and technology—translating strategy into action, turning user needs into sophisticated system solutions, and reimagining processes to unlock new levels of efficiency and insight. What You’ll Work On
- Gather and translate business and technical requirements, becoming a trusted partner and thought leader for stakeholders and IT teams.
- Design, configure, test, and deploy system enhancements, following robust change control and delivering solutions that elevate user experience and performance.
- Support system validation and compliance, ensuring all platforms meet quality, regulatory, corporate, and security standards.
- Document and communicate technical architecture, maintaining diagrams and system documentation that guide teams and future innovation.
- Provide technical expertise for implementations and enterprise initiatives, influencing solution design and cross functional alignment.
- Collaborate and communicate with purpose, ensuring stakeholders have the clarity needed for informed, timely decisions.
- Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize processes, strengthen governance, and elevate system performance.
- Support project delivery—owning roadmaps, timelines, budgets, risks, and status communications to ensure smooth execution and measurable outcomes working with the IT PMs.
- Administer and enhance critical applications, managing configurations, access, and ServiceNow processes to ensure seamless business operations.
- Drive technical project management across application and infrastructure landscapes, ensuring solutions are resilient, scalable, and aligned to enterprise standards.
- Safeguard applications, ensuring compliance with global privacy, security, resiliency, and regulatory frameworks.
- Engage in GenAI initiatives, exploring and integrating next generation technologies that will shape the future of Corporate Functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of IT Business Systems Analysis experience, with proven ability to translate user needs into clear system configurations and enhancement requirements.
- Strong capability to convert complex business and technical requirements into actionable solutions, partnering with stakeholders throughout the system lifecycle (SLC) to design, configure, validate, and document enhancements aligned with regulatory, security, and quality standards.
- Strong experience supporting IT projects Managers or programs Managers from initiation through deployment and closure, with demonstrated accountability for delivery.
- 2–4+ years of business process analysis experience.
- Experience conducting feasibility assessments and cost/benefit analysis to support informed prioritization and investment decisions.
- Proven understanding core project management disciplines, including project planning, requirements gathering, risk/issue management, change control, and executive ready status reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across cross functional, matrixed teams without direct authority, driving alignment and timely decision making.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, geographically distributed or global organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel (advanced functions preferred), PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Handson experiences working in ServiceNow, including incident, request, and change management processes.
- Working knowledge of Windows hardware, operating systems, and enterprise infrastructure components, enabling effective issue triage and solution design conversations.
- Ability to meet onsite attendance expectations in alignment with current company policy and team requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong process mapping skills, including documenting current state and future state workflows and identifying system, integration, or process gaps.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to provide clear recommendations, surface risks, and articulate business impacts to both business and IT leadership.
- Handson experience configuring, maintaining, or integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, ideally within Corporate Functions.
- Experience working with validated or quality/regulated IT systems, including knowledge of Abbott BTS SLC, ProcessX, or Windchill.
- Familiarity with Finance, Tax, or Treasury systems such as Concur, Hyperion/HFM, ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle), Cadency, or related enterprise applications.
- 1–3+ years supporting IT initiatives for Corporate Functions, demonstrating understanding of functional processes, stakeholder needs, and compliance considerations.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%, as required for project engagements, workshops, or cross functional collaboration.
