POSITION TITLE: Senior Accountant


Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in building an accounting team
  • Create and analyze accounting transactions
  • Reconcile complex bank reconciliations
  • Create and record monthly journal entries and accruals
  • Maintain general ledger and assist with year-end and month-end close processes
  • Assist with accounts payable & payroll
  • Ad-hoc reporting as needed by Management
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial package and accompanying schedules
  • Analyze accounting schedules and provide documentation of variances
  • Assist Senior Management and work with the to complete daily accounting tasks as needed
  • Ability to analyze financial records and interpret for other departments
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Advanced Excel)
  • Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system implementation a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and thrive in a dynamic environment                                                                                                                          ​​
