Summary

This position provides comprehensive finance and accounting support in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include hands-on cost accounting, general ledger management, reconciliations, financial reporting, and fixed asset management. The role is critical in partnering with site leadership to deliver valuable financial insights and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain entries in the general ledger.
  • Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Manage fixed asset transactions, depreciation, and capital equipment budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Lead or contribute to the preparation of forecasts, sales revenue, cost reports, and departmental budgets.
  • Conduct quarterly SOX compliance audits.
  • Provide financial analysis, recommend solutions, and contribute to strategic financial planning.
  • Serve as a mentor for junior team members and function as a backup in the absence of finance management.


Requirements

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and fixed asset management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Direct experience in manufacturing processes, preferably electronics or PCB.

Nice-to-Have:

  • CPA certification.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance.
