Position Summary

The Senior Accountant for the Management Company will have varied responsibilities across the Management Company including cash reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and accounting and reporting. This position will also have the opportunity to contribute first-hand toward team strategy, including building out new policies, processes and procedures for the Management Company function with the goal to improve the timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of reporting to the Firm’s key stakeholders. This role also provides meaningful exposure to fund accounting, including fund-level financial reporting, investor deliverables and requests, and internal reporting on key performance metrics at both the fund and portfolio company levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing daily cash reconciliation and preparing monthly bank account reconciliation

• Managing accounts payable function for the Management Company through Ramp

• Managing accounts receivable function for the Management Company through NetSuite

• Facilitating the process of monthly expense submissions and reviewing/approving the expense reports through Ramp

• Supporting the transition from Bill.com and Expensify to Ramp as part of the firm’s efforts to improve spend management and reporting systems

• Assisting in the development of scalable financial processes and reports in Ramp and NetSuite, with a focus on leveraging systems to build efficient, automated workflows and continuously improve reporting

• Ensuring quarterly expenses are submitted on time and properly allocated to the portfolio companies, Management Company, or Funds

• Preparing quarterly expense invoices for the portfolio companies

• Managing journal entries, general ledger and reporting information for monthly and quarterly close for the Management Company through NetSuite

• Supporting the tax compliance process for portfolio companies’ blocker entities, Management Company, and Funds by coordinating with external advisors on federal and state estimates, final returns, payments, and K-1s reporting across multiple jurisdictions

• Supporting the Funds’ financial reporting and capital account statements, and assisting with internal and external ad hoc reporting requests

• Supporting the Finance team on various projects

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have three plus years of substantial experience in a corporate or public accounting position, ideally in financial service industries. Familiarity with private equity or venture capital structures is strongly preferred, particularly in areas such as management company accounting, fund allocations, and inter-entity transactions. The successful Senior Accountant will combine strong accounting acumen with a technology-forward mindset—demonstrating either hands-on experience with, or a strong interest in, leveraging AI-driven tools, automation platforms, and financial systems to streamline processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance decision support. They will be intellectually curious, open-minded, and well-rounded leader with exceptional interpersonal skills. They will have enthusiasm and strong aptitude for building community, as well as a demonstrated background in ability to manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure and meet deadlines. Education

3+ years of Public / Private Accounting experience

Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting

Microsoft Excel proficient

Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills

Great interpersonal skills
