Senior Accountant – Derby
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
Full-time, Permanent | Office based with some flexibility

We're working with a leading accountancy practice to find a Senior Accountant for their Derby office.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys client-facing work, problem-solving, and mentoring others.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare year-end accounts for a range of business clients

• Support delivery of high-quality compliance and advisory services

• Take ownership of client work, delivering efficiently and within budget

• Provide support and feedback to junior team members

• Assist in training and development across the wider team

• Build client relationships to support growth and retention

• Identify opportunities to add value and promote wider services

What we’re looking for:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

• Minimum 3 years’ accountancy practice experience

• Able to manage deadlines with minimal supervision

• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail

• Familiar with cloud-based accountancy software

• Clear communicator and team player
