Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI, a private nonprofit human service organization, is currently seeking a Recruiter a join our Human Capital team. Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing candidates for positions and completing full lifecycle recruitment, as well as the development and on-going management of recruiting programs, systems, policies, procedures, and practices that results in an adequate flow of diverse, qualified candidates that support the mission of the organization. The Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of efficiently and effectively filling open positions, in partnership with the hiring leader, including candidate sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, offer and background check process, and new hire onboarding activities. In conjunction with other human capital and organization staff, the Recruiter will engage in workforce planning strategies to anticipate and develop a qualified and diverse candidate pool.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of one year recruitment related experience is preferred, as is experience in high volume recruitment. PHR/SPHR certification is preferred. In addition, candidate should have:
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to perform the essential duties of the role; a motor vehicle check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record per the LSS Driver Safety Procedure is required, and ability to meet LSS auto insurance requirements.
TRAVEL: Ability to travel on day trips as required. Some overnight travel required, mostly during spring and fall college career fair season.
