Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Network Engineer - Robotics based at our Greenville, NC location. 

  

What you will do: 

  • Install and configure robotic systems to meet project requirements, ensuring they operate effectively in customer settings 

  • Conduct on-site testing and commissioning, including system setup, mapping, and connectivity validation 

  • Train technicians and end users on deploying and maintaining robotic systems 

  • Assess and troubleshoot network performance, identifying and resolving Wi-Fi and connectivity issues that affect system operation 

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including network layouts, test results, and configuration reports 

  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to identify network issues, gather data, and apply solutions 

  • Recommend process improvements and explore new technologies or methods to enhance system reliability and efficiency

What you will need: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field 

  • 5 years of professional experience, including 1-5 years of industry-specific experience 

 

Skills, Experience & Abilities       

  • Advanced knowledge of networks, Wi-Fi, and cloud systems.

  • Hands-on experience with network diagnostics and troubleshooting.  

  • Familiarity with system commissioning, documentation, and process design.  

  • Strong computer and IT systems expertise.
