  • Monitors the effective performance of the computer network, including resource utilization, trending and capacity planning.
  • Manages and designs Network infrastructure in order to maximize network efficiency, availability and reliability.
  • Designs system configuration, directs system installation, documents and enforces system standards.
  • Installs network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, etc.
  • Configures and maintains all WAN infrastructures to ensure security regarding system access.
  • Selects and implements security tools, policies and procedures in conjunction with the department’s security team.
  • Evaluates, tests, and recommends new software and network system updates.
  • Performs network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, hot fixes and security patches.
  • Troubleshoots network problems and outages, schedules upgrades and collaborates with management on network optimization.
  • Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
  • Ensures Credit Union compliance with software licensing agreements.
  • Acts as liaison with vendors and other department personnel for problem resolution.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.
  • Updates and maintains job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Promotes and establishes strong, positive and productive working relationships within the organization through commitment to the company’s vision statement, core values and business principles.

Starting Salary for this role: 89k
