Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
IT Technical Recruiter Assistant to support our technical recruiting team in identifying, engaging, and onboarding top IT talent. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of technical roles and recruitment workflows and will help ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
What will you do:- Assist technical recruiters with sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and other platforms.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and interview feedback.
- Pre-screen resumes for technical roles and provide initial assessments based on predefined criteria.
- Communicate professionally with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Help draft and post job descriptions on relevant job portals.
- Conducted reference checks and supported background verification processes.
- Prepare recruiting reports and analytics as requested.
- Stay updated on trends in IT hiring and recruitment best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment support or coordination, preferably in a technical hiring environment.
- Familiarity with IT roles and technologies (e.g., IT Support, System Administration, Project Manager, etc.).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in using ATS and recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Workable, etc.).
- Comfortable with multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Prior experience in a technical recruiting team or staffing agency.
- Knowledge of Boolean search techniques.
Familiarity with or ability to evaluate candidates for:
- CompA (infrastructure management platforms or equivalents)
- Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure)
- BlueCat (DNS/DHCP/IPAM systems)
