As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be a key player in handling the company's daily IT needs, including ongoing maintenance, asset tracking, and training employees on essential IT functions and requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for IT systems and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support to on-site and remote users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Monitor the daily performance of computer systems, modifying configurations, utilities, and software default settings as necessary for workstations.
Deploy new and replacement equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. Guarantee end-user satisfaction, accuracy, and timely completion.
Maintain asset tracking records and collaborate with the IT Manager to develop and manage the equipment replacement schedule.
Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
Develop training materials and procedures, and train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
Stay up-to-date with current desktop and LAN technologies through continuing education, journal reviews, web searches, and formal seminar opportunities.
Coordinate network coverage with the IT Manager. Occasional night and/or weekend work may be required.
Complete other duties as assigned.

2 years of relevant technical experience
Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
Excellent computer skills and the ability to quicklyΒ learn new computer systems
