The On-Site IT Support Specialist provides hands-on technical support at DoD facilities, ensuring uninterrupted operations of systems, devices, and network connectivity in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware/software systems
- Troubleshoot system, network, and connectivity issues
- Support secure environments in compliance with DoD security protocols
- Maintain asset inventory and equipment accountability
- Ensure physical security of IT equipment and workspaces
- Coordinate with network and systems teams for escalated issues
- Follow installation access and security requirements for DoD facilities
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience
- Experience in secure or government environments preferred
- CompTIA A+, Security+, or equivalent certifications
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
