As an on-site IT Support Specialist, this staff member plays a vital role in ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports a seamless and secure experience for residents, staff, and visitors. This staff member should bring both technical expertise and a people-centered approach to maintain, improve, and support the systems that help our community thrive. The position requires working as part of a local IT team while also collaborating with the larger external IT team at Kendal at Lexington and The Kendal Corporation (TKC). Success in this role depends on multi-tiered communication across departments, within the organization, and with the corporate office
Furthermore, it is the expectation that this staff member possesses a strong interest in progressive technologies and a willingness to learn new skills and must be resourceful, a quick learner and have good problem-solving skills. Must be a team player, have good communication skills and the ability to prioritize daily tasks. This position is responsible for configuring, deploying and supporting company computers and software applications as well as user account management.
