Performs difficult technical work involving the analysis of departmental operating procedures and the development, design and implementation of electronic data processing systems programs, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Information Technology Director.
Monitors networks.
Designs and implements third party software or internally developed software applications to address identified problems; ensures proposed systems have conceptual integrity, clear interface definitions, modularity, and clarity
Builds and tests database applications; creates routine queries and multiple views for database access based on individual needs; builds standard repeatable queries (ad-hoc) for standard reports
Installs software and related upgrades, maintain applications, and trains users.
Designs and implements creative technical solutions to complex problems and business needs.
Maintains and supports a wide variety of technology systems.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously, both long term and short term.
Performs programming.
Provides helpdesk support.
Provides Google App support.
Performs other assigned duties.
Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques used in system analysis and design and the operation, uses and capabilities of electronic data processing equipment.
Ability to analyze business methods and procedures and develop applicable automated information processing systems.
Ability to prepare technical reports and manuals.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, associates, and others.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
One to three (1-3) years of experience in a related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Valid driver’s license.
