Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Retention:
    • Lead the recruitment team by managing, supporting, and fostering collaboration within the group.
    • Attract, hire, and retain compassionate and skilled professionals who align with the organizationโ€™s mission and values.
    • Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies using multiple sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and industry-specific platforms.
    • Oversee the entire recruitment process, from job postings and candidate sourcing to interviews, offers, and onboarding.
    • Promote Glen Park Senior Livingโ€™s values and culture through branding initiatives and events.
  2. Employee Development:
    • Oversee training programs and professional growth initiatives to empower employees at all levels.
    • Mentor and coach team members to ensure accountability and foster professional development.
  3. Culture and Engagement:
    • Foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace that promotes engagement, satisfaction, and team success.
    • Proactively identify and expand diverse talent pools to enhance team quality and inclusivity.
  4. Strategic HR Alignment:
    • Partner with leadership to implement HR strategies that enhance operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.
    • Track key recruitment and HR metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) and report regularly to senior leadership.
  5. Innovation and Technology:
    • Utilize innovative recruitment tools, including ATS and AI-driven platforms, to improve hiring processes.
    • Implement forward-thinking approaches to proactively solve challenges and improve staff and resident experiences.
  6. Compliance and Best Practices:
    • Ensure HR and recruitment processes comply with legal and industry standards, particularly those related to healthcare and assisted living.
    • Stay ahead of industry regulations, ensuring policies align with legal and ethical standards in senior care.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in assisted living, healthcare, or a related field.
    • Proven track record in talent acquisition, recruitment management, and leading HR functions.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and digital recruitment tools.
    • Strong knowledge of social media, job boards, and industry-specific platforms.
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders.
    • Leadership and team-building abilities, including mentoring and coaching.
    • Understanding of labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices in healthcare.
  • Education:
    • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
