Summary
The HR Generalist will be a key member of the HR Operations team, responsible for supporting the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of HR policies, tools, processes, and services across Lessen LLC. This role provides first-line HR support to managers and employees while also taking ownership of specific HR services or subject areas.
 
 
What You'll Do:
·       Provide HR policy guidance and best practice interpretation to managers and employees.
·       Lead onboarding processes and administer I-9 verification for all new hires.
·       Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to resolve complex employee leave matters, including policy interpretation, administration, accommodations, and employee complaints related to leaves.
·       Work cross-functionally with leave vendors, Benefits, Payroll, and Legal teams to manage leave cases effectively.
·       Manage all data changes in Workday, such as promotions, schedule changes, time off adjustments, org changes, etc.
·       Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and processes.
·       Support business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning efforts.
·       Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
·       Foster a positive team environment and promote a strong organizational culture.
·       Ensure confidentiality of internal and external data.
·       Assist with processing parental leave pay inputs.
·       Participate in ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
 
You Should Have:
·       Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
·       Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to employee management.
·       Experience managing HR issues.
·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
·       Experience with HRIS tools such as Workday.
·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
·       Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
·       2-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar HR capacity.
·       Service management or HR experience in a call center environment is a plus.
·       Master’s Degree in HRM or MBA is a plus
·       HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
 
Compensation:
$70,000 - $78,000
Pay is determined by several compensable factors, such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
