Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Handle Pre-employment and Onboarding process for new hires.
Conduct New Hire Orientation and complete I-9 Forms for all new employees.
Create, organize and maintain employee files in corresponding Area of Responsibility.
Point of contact for timekeeping questions from managers or employees.
Complete weekly timecard sign-off for employees in corresponding Area of Responsibility.
Point of contact to answer payroll related questions to employees and complete needed corrections.
Prepare and provide required periodic reports to different stakeholders (Finance, HSE, Operations, etc.) as needed.
Code and obtain necessary approvals to process invoices and submit to A/P.
Ensure all employee terminations are processed correctly with payroll in accordance with state laws and proper vacation time is paid out.
Assist with unemployment verifications, leave requests, and state required documents.
Manage Quarterly Random Drug & Alcohol testing in collaboration with HRBP’s.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Must have High School diploma or GED.
2-4 years’ experience in an HR support role or related field.
Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Superior organizational and interpersonal skills.
Must be highly proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and able to research, compile and clearly present information and data.
Prior experience with ERP Systems is preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
