We are a start-up company looking to hire a Sales Manager, leader with experience in building and selling to governmental agencies (Fire Departments, Fleet Services), race teams, and FBO (airports) in the San Francisco Bay Area.
๐ What Youโll Do โ Responsibilities:
- Build and grow customer relationships across targeted sectors.
- Visit customer locations to provide onsite product demonstrations and training, ensuring hands-on understanding of product performance.
- Manage the full sales cycleโfrom prospecting to closing and renewal.
- Collaborate closely with founders, partners, and customers to shape market strategy.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across government, racing, and aviation.
- Balance travel between sales opportunities, with strong organizational skills to maximize customer coverage.
๐ What Youโll Bring โ Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales leadership, ideally in government, fleet, racing, or aviation sectors.
- Ability to deliver onsite, manual product demonstrations and communicate technical benefits clearly.
- Strong โjump-in and own itโ mentality, able to think from the customerโs perspective.
- Hands-on experience managing the sales funnel from lead generation through retention.
- Familiarity with local governmental agencies and procurement processes.
- U.S. work eligibility (this is not a sponsorship opportunity).
- Valid driverโs license and ability to travel independently to customer sites across the Bay Area.
