Responsibilities:

• Good communication skills (Ex. must communicate to owner/supervisors work being preformed, status of vehicle & scheduling).
• Ability to work independently/must be self starting.
• Ability to maintain detailed records on work preformed and services needed.
• Diagnostic ability on cars to Hino, KW, Peterbilt, Freightliner, etc.

• Familiar with towing & hydraulic systems, helpful.
• Knowledge of engines, electrical system, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems (air & hydraulic), etc.
• Basic mig welding ability.
• Able to maintain clean working environment.
• Able to implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedule.

• Maintaining detailed records of services preformed.
• Able to implement and maintain a parts inventory.

Experience:

• Diesel Engine, Truck & Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 1 year (Preferred)
• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
