As a Business Systems Analyst in our team with minimum 5 years of experience in customer channels domain, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, optimize, and enhance our self-serve channel experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Management: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into clear and concise functional and technical specifications. This includes creating and maintaining user stories, process flows, and wireframes.
  • Digital Analytics & UI/UX: Leverage tools like Google Analytics to analyze user behavior, identify pain points, and propose data-driven solutions. Collaborate with the UX/UI team to document user journeys and define user experience requirements that align with business goals and enhance the digital experience.
  • Technical Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of business needs. This includes defining APIs, data flows, and system integrations required to implement solutions.
  • Project & Stakeholder Support: Actively participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This involves supporting project teams during development, facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT), and providing post-launch support. The BSA will also manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate clear and consistent communication regarding project status, risks, and changes.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Support quality assurance efforts by developing test cases and performing functional and integration testing to ensure that implemented solutions meet the defined business requirements and technical specifications. They will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our digital channels, proactively identifying and addressing issues to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst role, working on large project/program implementations
  • Strong understanding of Web and Mobile App systems
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)
  • Experience in JIRA
  • Working knowledge of UI/UX best practices
  • Understanding of best security practices for customer channels
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and data reporting
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience managing information technology software or system implementation projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex information
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology

407 ETR's Information Technology division is responsible for the infrastructure and software to enable the efficient operation of the highway---including toll capture, account management, financials, and data storage/analytics---as well as customer services including call-center, web, IVR and supporting workflows.
