We are seeking an Accountant who wants to use their knowledge to help grow our venture capital-backed business. Someone who is experienced in AP, audits, reconciliations, very organized, and a strong self-starter would be a perfect fit. 



As an Accountant, some of your job duties will include:

·       Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Review and verify invoices and check requests
  • Sort, code, and match invoices
  • Set invoices up for payment
  • Enter and upload invoices into the system
  • Track expenses and process employee expense reports
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain vendor files

·       General Accounting Tasks:

  • Assist with month-end close processes which includes, but is not limited to: calculating and posting monthly journal entries, maintaining accrual and prepaid calculations, maintaining fixed asset files and recording depreciation and amortization, reconciling bank accounts
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Tracking and recording physician payments and maintaining compliance with the Sunshine Act
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly internal financial reports and presentations
  • Filing, mailing documents, etc
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards (GAAP) and regulations
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis

To be successful as an Accountant, you will have the following experiences and skills:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

·       Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience

·       Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office products

·       Strong organizational and communication skills

·       Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

·       Exceptional drive, work ethic and initiative

·       Energetic and enthusiastic personality who thrives on diversity and challenge in a role

·       Must be able to work collaboratively and operate in a fast-paced environment

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Proficient written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to be independently motivated

·       Knowledge of continuous improvement process or methods, a bonus.
