Position Summary
Under general supervision, this position encompasses very frequent physical labor in a wide variety of semi-skilled and complex repairs, maintenance, construction and improvement projects for County buildings and facilities. Employees in this classification perform at journey level and have previous experience in the trade (e.g. electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, concrete, roofing), and can perform most tasks independently, though work remains subject to review and inspection during and upon completion of assigned tasks. Positions in this class represent the most complex and most difficult of the trades occupations.
