Position Summary:
The Digital Learning Solutions Designer plays a key role in creating the design, and implementation, of a digital infrastructure plan that connects our learning content, learning communities, and learning management systems. This role fosters the collaboration with customers to gather business requirements, and partners with Learning Design team and vendors to deliver enhanced system functionality and resolve complex issues. The Digital Learning Solutions Engineer will work closely with our IT department, HR partners, and external vendors to create a seamless and efficient digital learning environment.

Major Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions for digital learning initiatives. Collaborate with IT and external vendors to design and implement a digital infrastructure plan that connects learning management systems, learning content, and learner completion records. Develop and maintain documentation on system architecture, technology standards, and implementation guidelines.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to internal teams and external vendors regarding web development, Microsoft SharePoint, Oracle HCM, information technology, and learning management systems. Design and create a digital learning ecosystem that reflects the full landscape of learning opportunities across a variety of modalities at the fingertips of our associates.
• Creation and distribution of complex reports to meet regulatory requirements (i.e ESG). Will also be familiar with data visualization processes and Penske reporting and analytic standards. Will establish detailed procedures for reoccurring reports so they can be reproduced other team members. 
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to digital learning systems and infrastructure. Ensure that digital solutions comply with relevant security and data privacy regulations. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the digital learning space and provide recommendations for future initiatives.

The Digital Learning Solutions Designer will report to the Manager, Digital Learning Solutions.

This position is open to remote work. Penske’s corporate offices are located in Reading, PA, 75 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Candidates would be expected to travel as necessary for work and/or development opportunities (less than 10% of the time). 



Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field preferred, Masters preferred
• Solid base of professional certifications and qualifications within Oracle HCM, Learning Cloud or LMS equivalent, Microsoft certification preferred or equivalent experience, Industry trends - HCI, Cloud etc., Networking concepts
• Minimum of 3 years experience designing creative digital solutions at scale across an organization, and/or equivalent work as systems engineer and IT support required
• Excellent communication, project and program management, and influence skills required
• Sincere hunger to learn, creative mindset, and high learning agility
• Experience and expertise in applying human-centered design and design thinking principles and methods in developing impactful learning experiences
• High personal standard for quality of work product
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location if required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
