Valiant Integrated Services is looking to hire a talented Instructional Designer to fill a new opportunity we have with our government client in Chantilly, VA. This position is responsible for managing the product of high-end intelligence multimedia products created to take the clients’ training and learning modules to the next level of web-based learning to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the design for interactive web -based learning modules, case studies, and/or revamping of in-depth collections on training/learning topics for the client
- Be responsible for product research and content development, programming/authoring, audio/video editing, interface design, software and hardware testing and quality control procedures
- Define/Manage/Maintain/Test requirements per project
- Adhere to client’s standards for quality, design, etc. for overall concept effectiveness
- Extensively review all products and services to ensure the highest professional, technical and aesthetic standards exist in final products
- Develop and produce high-end interactive multimedia products
- Utilize emerging technologies and trends in multimedia and web-based learning to further advance the learning/training programs/modules/materials
Required Qualifications:
- An active TS/SCI w/Poly security clearance
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Passion for visual communication and design for web-based learning
- Experience developing and managing high-end interactive multimedia products
- Experience designing, developing, and managing a multifaceted web-based learning initiative
- Experience with design/developing web video technologies and web based learning (interactive) modules
- Expert knowledge of multimedia production of implementation of products
- Experience using developing/designing/coding techniques that will ensure full accessibility for users with disabilities
- Experience with semantic HTML tags using available HTML5 and CSS3 technologies and programming languages in support of the client
- Experience in computer/web based training design/development
- Experience in developing gaming software
- Experience in graphic arts
- Experience in visual communication design
